M698 is a small, independent arcade site built for players in Malaysia and the wider Southeast Asian region. It is run by a small editorial and engineering team who got tired of browser game sites that are mostly advertising with a game hiding somewhere behind it.

What we publish

Every game here is an original HTML5 title written for this site. They load instantly, work on a phone with one thumb, need no download and no account, and store your high score on your own device. Alongside the games we publish written guides, ranked roundups and editorial notes on how the games are designed.

Two languages

The whole site exists in English and Bahasa Melayu, written as equals rather than as an original and a translation. Most of our readers move between the two languages daily, and the site should not force them to pick one.

How we work
