Jump Stack Tower
Charge a jump, land on a moving platform and climb a tower that speeds up with every floor.
About this game
Jump Stack Tower is a one-button climbing game. Power builds while you hold, and releasing launches your character toward the next platform. The catch is that platforms move, and the window between charging long enough to reach the next floor and charging so long that you overshoot it narrows with every metre you climb.
The rhythm is the appeal. Early floors are forgiving — a wide platform drifts slowly and almost any charge lands you. From floor twenty onwards the platforms shrink and accelerate, and by floor forty a perfect jump is a fraction of a second wide. The game never gets unfair, but it does get exact.
Landing dead-centre gives a precision bonus and a small score multiplier that stacks, which is what separates a high climb from a very high one. Landing on the edge keeps you alive but costs you the bonus, so the tension between safe and perfect is present in every single jump.
A good run lasts two to five minutes. The best height is saved locally, and there is a soft checkpoint every ten floors so a long climb does not start from zero.
How to play
- Hold to charge, release to jump. Charge length maps directly to jump distance.
- Watch the platform's speed before you commit — a fast diver needs a shorter charge.
- Aim for the centre marker; precision landings stack a score bonus.
- On shrinking floors, favour a slight under-charge over an over-charge, since overshooting is a fall.
- Use the ten-floor checkpoints to attempt a riskier height once you have a safe run banked.
Questions
Is there more than one button?
No. The whole game is one charge-and-release control, which is why the timing matters so much.
What is the precision bonus?
Landing within the centre band of a platform adds a stacking score multiplier for the rest of the run.
Do I lose everything when I fall?
You restart from your last ten-floor checkpoint, so a long climb is never fully lost.
Can I play with a keyboard?
Yes — holding the space bar charges the jump and releasing it launches, identical to a touch press.
